House with Pond

This beautiful remodel of an existing House with Pond started with the demolition of the old house that needed to be completely removed due to serious structural issues however the original property featured a beautiful pond and advanced landscaping.

As you move through the house you will see four seperate yet interconnected buildings , the main house, a home office, a cabana and a stand alone garage – all the buildings sit of the outside of the block facing inwards towards the garden, swimming pool and of course that magnificent Koi fish pond.

This beautiful house features many green touches from solar panels on the roof for both electricity generation and solar hot water both in the design and the build process.

Quite remarkably given the climate of San Francisco the house is not air conditioned, rather it was designed by the Architects to be passively cooled with a combination of overhanging eaves and windows.
